Automatic Heating Equipment was established in 1968 by Edward P Garrahy Sr. who realized a growing need for a full service, stocking, heating distributor to handle the oil and gas heating equipment needs for Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts.

His philosophy, then- as it is today, was to provide quality customer service, a knowledgeable staff and an inventory -second to none.
